Fiona Haworth is an active lay person in the UMC who began her work with Jim Ozier while she was Director of Talent Development at Southwest Airlines. She is currently Director of Learning and Development at Interstate Batteries, where she is responsible to grow its culture, which is grounded in faith and making a difference in the lives of everyone it serves.
Her role at Interstate includes creating an onboarding experience for new employees that enables them to connect with Interstate’s unique culture and find their place in the company. She oversees a team of designers and facilitators who create and deliver online and instructor-led training to reflect and strengthen the company’s culture.
She brings a laity perspective to Ozier Coaching and specializes in church growth and culture. Fiona’s career has taken her across industries – energy, healthcare, airline – and across disciplines – strategic planning, employment branding, performance management, executive coaching. She graciously shares her professional training within the church world that she loves.
As a key partner in Ozier Coaching, Fiona has conducted workshops and retreats for churches, districts, and Annual Conferences. Leveraging her career passion for organizational culture, she presents in multiple settings, such as The Dallas Leadership Summit and the SMU Human Relations roundtable in Santa Fe.
She and Jim have presented together and solo at a wide array of venues in church, civic, and corporate settings on topics related to culture change and improving performance and results.
Fiona is a Texan now, but was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. She is married to the Director of Music Ministries at Suncreek UMC in Allen, Texas.
